How to paint wood to look like marble as seen on diy but can't find not listed?

Have seen it done. As marble usually has several colors. Use a sponge technique to cover the surface. Then use a dry feather and dip it into one of the colors. (usually a darker one than lighter and gently drag the tip of the feather only across the surface this line will create the grain/lines in the marble. Remember marble comes in a huge array of colors and patterns. So suggest you go to a marble supplier web page try www.wk.com.au and take a look. I sell the stuff. I'm a kitchen designer. Have fun. Don't forget to properly seal the work with polyurethane. How to paint wood to look like marble as seen on diy but can't find not listed?
