Get an old dish towel (it might get ruined) soak it in warm water. Let the warm, wet dish towel sit on the stain for about five minutes, then wipe. You might have to do this a few times. The clear coat on your paint job should protect your motorcycle from being permanently stained.
Is the stain on a part that is going to get hot? It could catch on fire if it, was say on the muffler. Make sure you clean with plain water on those parts, and get it all off before going for a ride.
