I am buying new custom kitchen cabinets. I love painted wood. How will this hold up compared to stained wood?

make sure you get it painted with a kitchen paint.. it holds up better with mositure stain resistance etc. Like your walls your cabinets will need repainting often depending on the colour you choose it may look grungy earlier. The only thing I can see is that you need to be prepared to paint your cabinets but that can also be a postive if you want to change the appearance. g/lI am buying new custom kitchen cabinets. Both the stained and painted product will wear with use and time,they both show similar wear patterns around pulls and corners etc.
